COVID-19 Safety UpdateCOVID-19 Safety Update

Belle Tire will stay open in accordance with the Department of Homeland Security’s “Guidance on the Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce” (https://www.cisa.gov/publication/guidance-essential-critical-infrastructure-workforce).  This guidance has been referenced and followed by all states where we operate.

We do not take this responsibility lightly.  The last thing our neighbors and community need to worry about when seeking food, medicine and medical treatment is a flat tire or vehicle that does not work or is dangerous. As a result, we have also made the commitment to fix all flats for free, regardless of whether or not the tire was bought at Belle Tire.

Services we are providing:

  • Free flat repairs (regardless of where the tire was bought)

  • Replacing tires with worn or unsafe tread

  • Addressing tire pressure maintenance, including free air 24-hours each day

  • All other vehicle repair and maintenance services

  • Contact-free options

    • Stay-in-your vehicle service

    • Curbside service

    • Key drop service

    • Touch-free payment

Additional steps we are taking to keep the public and employees’ safe

Belle Tire is taking additional, in-store precautions above and beyond adopting the preventative protocols and recommendations of the leading health agencies.

Every store is focused on cleaning and disinfecting all frequently touched objects and surfaces inside the store.

  • We are spacing the chairs in the waiting area and limiting the number of folks in the waiting area (customers and employees) to under 10 individuals

  • We are asking all customers to maintain a 6 feet distance from one another at all times - including if there is a line

  • We are entering and handling vehicles with safety preventative measures like using latex gloves, car seat covers, floor mats, steering wheel covers, etc.

  • We are also using latex gloves when handling, taking or returning keys

Customers are encouraged to call our stores ahead of visiting to reduce wait times, as well as dropping their vehicle off when they can rather than staying with the vehicle.  And, in order to promote a safe and healthy experience at Belle Tire, customers are encouraged to visit stores only if they are feeling well.

In the event of a store closure…

Should we need to close a store due to COVID-19 concerns, we will immediately implement an action plan that includes:

  • Bringing in a company that specializes in sanitizing stores for these sort of health issues

  • Redirect customers to nearby, unaffected stores for the short term

  • We will reopen the store once treated and cleaned with unaffected staff from nearby stores

Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, we will continue to offer all employees diagnosed with COVID-19 or required to go into quarantine, paid medical leave.

This is a rapidly changing situation and we will be monitoring it closely and provide frequent updates.  Should you have any questions please email us at CommunityRelations@BelleTire.com.
