Shocks and struts

Your car relies on its suspension system to keep the tires in firm contact with the road at all times. A car's suspension system absorbs bumps and helps you steer properly or rough roads.

 

Symptoms of shock or strut wear

Tire wear:
If you notice uneven wear on the treads of your tires, it's a safe bet that your shocks or struts are on their way out of commission.
Excessive bounce:
If your vehicle's front end dips excessively during sudden stops, your shocks or struts may need to be replaced. You can test them by pushing down on the front and rear of the vehicle and checking for excessive bouncing or have one of Belle Tire's ASE Certified Technicians check the problem for you.
